An additional two million cardholders can buy on the net

According to the datas of the central bank; currently 2.9 million Maestro credit cards are under usage in Hungary, it is the 32 percent of the whole cards, and 40 percent of the debit cards.

According to the regulations of MasterCard; from the 15^th of April it will be mandatory for the newly issued Maestro cards to be suitable for making purchases on the Internet, so online shopping will soon be available for more than two million Hungarian cardholders – reports Világgazdaság Online, on the basis of the company’s statement.
