Two billion HUF investment at the Somló wine region
The Somló-based Kreinbacher-winery started a two billion HUF investment. Fourty-five percent of the costs are of EU funds, 55 percent will come from own power.
New winebottlery , sparkling wine cellar, wine museum, guest houses, conference room will be built. Gráf József Minister of Agriculture pointed out that capacity-building is not the main objective, the quality of the wine production is the most important. Last year 2 million hectoliters of the produced 3.5 million, belonged to the quality category. Kreinbacher plans to increase its production up to 300 thousand bottles from the current 60 thousand bottles per year, which can only be successful if Kreinbacher involves the wine farmers of the region – reports Népszabadság Online.
