A 2 billion HUF hotel development tender will be launched in Pest County

Tourism is one of the sectors most affected by the coronavirus, so the government helps tourism businesses to recover with several tools – Varga Mihály informed MTI.

The Minister of Finance emphasized that, as another economic protection measure, the Ministry of Finance will launch a tender to support the development and expansion of accommodation from domestic sources with a budget of 2 billion HUF for enterprises in Pest County. Due to the EU regulations, Pest County receives less EU development funds compared to similarly developed counties, therefore the government will provide a total of 80 billion HUF in support for the development of the region from domestic sources until 2021.
