Two thirds in bottles, one third in barrels
Sales of beer showed stagnation in the HoReCa sector in terms of volume, whereas showed a slight increase of 2 per cent in terms of value between February 2006 and January 2007, compared to the previous year. The HoReCa beer market exceeded HUF 130 billion in size. Lager was still the most popular type, while premium, super premium and special beers showed some decline in popularity. Average price was HUF 456/litre, 4 per cent more than a year before.
