Two thousand packs of untaxed cigarettes were seized in Hegyeshalom
About two thousand packs of untaxed cigarettes were found in a van, by the financie officers on the M1 highway near Hegyeshalom – the Customs and Excise Spokesman of the National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) informed MTI on Tuesday.
Leopold Róbert said that the van delivered an industrial compressor to Vienna for repairment.
The driver said that he did not know there were cigarettes in the compressor.
The tobacco was seized by the NAV and a complaint was filed against the driver for receiving stolen goods. (MTI)
