The ULT Magyarország Kft. enters into a two-year tobacco production contract with its producers.

The ULT (Universal Leaf Tobacco) Magyarország Kft. is concluding a two-year tobacco production contract with more than five hundred producers – the agronomic director of the American-owned company dealing with the integration and acquisition of cultivation told MTI on Friday.

Fekete Tibor reminded that the three-year contracts concluded between the two parties in 2018 expired last year. At that time, the main goal of the contract was to ensure the continuity of production despite the unfavorable situation on the global tobacco market at that time and the cessation of domestic primary tobacco processing.
