The Far-East company will be denounced due to dubious origin foods
The inspectors of the National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) and the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) found several hundred kilograms of dubious origin food at a company on Friday. The company’s operator can expect several million HUF fine.
According to Helik Ferenc, chief veterinarian of NÉBIH, the staff of NAV and NÉBIH investigated the company, situated in Kőbánya, Budapest on Friday. After the primary investigations 450 kilograms of food was immediately destroyed, while 5 tons of food products were withdrawn.
The investigation continued on Monday in the enterprise, where the inspectors have found more, about 25 to 35 tons of dubious origin food – the chief veterinarian added. (MTI)
