The highly pathogenic bird flu epidemic spreading explosively in Bács-Kiskun County justified the large expansion of protection and surveillance districts in this county and in Csongrád-Csanád County as well. The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) continues to draw the attention of livestock keepers to comply with the rules in the fight against the epidemic.
