Two tons of foie gras was sold at the foie gras festival in the Buda Castle
The Buda Castle Goose Foie Gras Festival closed yesterday with the live show of Vivat Bacchus. A total of 17,500 people visited the festival in three days.
The most popular variations of geese included the gooseburger the goose liver sausages, the most wanted sweet was the goose liver ice cream with Tokaji Aszú. Several foreign tourists visited the festival, where beside foie gras products dishes of duck and geese meat could be found as well.
