Tesco scraps two billion pieces of plastic from its business
Tesco has announced that it has removed more than two billion pieces of plastic from its UK business since the launch of its 4R – Remove, Reduce, Re-use, Recycle – packaging strategy in 2019. With the 4R strategy Tesco implemented a business-wide programme of change that evaluates every piece of packaging, and removes all unnecessary and non-recyclable material.
