Two and a half times more mobile payments
In the second quarter of 2022, 364 million purchases were made using bank cards issued in Hungary, which was 29% more than in the same period of 2021. The number of card-based payments using smart devices increased even more: there were almost 63 million such transactions – 2.5 times more than in the base period. Balázs Németh, chief innovation officer of K&H told: payment by using smart devices – based on NFC and mobile token technology – offers extra security too. //
