K&H won two prizes at the CSR Hungary competition
K&H Bank received two new professional awards at the Hungarian Business Responsibility Award (CSR Hungary Award 2024): one in the Best environmental responsibility category, with the “K&H green car financing – through sustainable mobility” competition, and the other by K&H and Agrárközgazdasági With the institute’s jointly developed solution, K&H’s agricultural CO2 calculator.
K&H, as the Hungarian subsidiary of the KBC group, prioritizes the topic of sustainability, the physical and transition risks related to climate change – this is an integral part of the bank’s strategy. K&H was the first in Hungary to publish sector-level carbon emission targets, the development of which is continuously measured and regularly published in its annual Sustainability Report. Since 2023, in addition to its green home mortgage loan, green car leasing, discounted compulsory vehicle liability insurance for electric and hybrid cars and the K&H Agrár Széchenyi Investment Credit MAX+ “GREEN” scheme, the bank also helps its customers with data-based, sustainable development decisions with unique calculators. green car leasing and the agricultural CO2 calculator also won awards.
The agricultural calculator has already won the third recognition, after receiving the BCSDH “sustainable future” award this fall, as well as the Green Pledge awards.
