Törley group won two titles at the Champagne and Wine festival
The raw Törley sparkling wine became the Champagne of the year, the St. Stephen's Crown Irsay Oliver was elected as the white wine of the year on the 20th Champagne and Wine festival held in Budafok.
On that occasion, a jury of experts selected the wine of Budafok, the City of Wine and Champagne.
The white wine of the year became the St. Stephen's Crown Irsay Oliver wine, which is produced in the Etyek-Buda wine region and made from selected Irsay Oliver grapes. It is a real Hungaricum.
The best champagne became Törley’s Chardonnay 2006 raw sparkling wine which shows the beauty of sparkling wine, made only by the traditional procedure with a typical beautiful "yeasty" taste.
On the festival, which will be held betwen 5th and 6th of September visitors can taste each items at the wineries.
