The Aldi whiskys won two gold medals
Aldi’s Alcoholic Drinks won again at the prestigious Spirits Business Scotch Whisky Masters contest.
Two brands of the discount chain – the Highland Black Scotch Whiskey and teh Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky – were awarded by the jury with gold medals – Origo wrote.
Aldi has shown that quality is not necessarily expensive because Highland Black costs 17 USD (4900 HUF) and Islay costs 23 USD (6,600 HUF). (origo)
