Gamay harvest is delayed in Sopron
Because of the bad weather the start of the harvest of Gamay is in late around Sopron – Taschner István chairman of the local municipality told MTI on Monday.
Taschner István told that due to the warm weather in July and August the vegetation brought back its two to three week delay, which was suffered in the spring, but the rainy weather caused another two weeks delay. The Gamay harvest was planned to start this week, but it had to be delayed for two weeks. (MTI)
