Throw less food into the trash!
A lot accumulated surplus food ends in the trasher all around the world, including Hungary. The millions of tons of high-quality food could reduce the number of hungry people.
In order to minimize the number of food wasted in our country, the international FoRWaRd project was launched in 2012. The initiative ended in 2014. The Hungarian Food Bank Association published educational materials for companies and charities, which provide free online tutorial interface to help the professionals to reduce food waste.
