Lunar New Year brought commercial and tourism records in China
Chinese people were traveling more and spent more, compared to the previous years, during the one week long Lunar New Year break – the official statistics published on Friday show.
During the week of the Lunar New Year, the Chinese residents spent almost 611 billion yuans (23 thousand billion HUF). This value is greater than ever before. According to the datas of the Department of Commerce, it is a 13.3 percent growth, compared to the Lunar New Year of 2012. (MTI)
