Fried crocodile and kangaroo stew at the picnic near the Danube

Cooking Competition, the tasting of exotic and traditional Hungarian foods, theater performances, pop concerts and a street party welcomes visitors from Thursday to Sunday at the 1st Budapesti Duna Parti Piknik event throughout the entire territory of the Bálna Budapest (Whale Budapest).

The culinary festival, full of cultural events is mainly organized to promote the Hungarian food products, Hungarian fishes, as well as the products of the Hungarian artisan cuisine, but many exotic dishes can also be tasted during the four days of the festival- was said at the festival’s press conference on Monday.
