Kangaroo and crocodile

– Occasionally, we serve kangaroo and crocodile steak as a speciality, as materials are now available in Hungary – says Zsolt Jéger, owner of Hármaskönyv guest house in Alsópetény. Kangaroo and crocodile are prepared barbecue style. On some weekends, five or six portions are sold, but generally Hungarians are quite suspicious of new things. Crocodile is like chicken with a touch of beef. Of course, nor crocodile or kangaroo is cheap.
