Unpleasant Christmas surprise from Germany
Germany’s industrial production had fallen sharply in December, in spite of the analysts’ expectations of a slow growth. According to the datas of the Ministry of Economic Affairs; the output shrank by 2.6 percent, compared to November.
The analysts believe, that Europe's largest economy stagnated in the last quarter of 2009, and there is no chanse for a clear growth in the first three months of this year. Rainer Brüderle Minister of Economic Affairs also expects the GDP growth around zero, in the first quarter of 2010 – reports Világgazdaság Online.
