The Agricultural Marketing Center opens to the east
In addition to appearances at international exhibitions, since 2021 the Agricultural Marketing Center has also been helping agricultural and food industry companies enter the foreign market by organizing business meetings. In the following days, on two Asian stations, the so-called In the framework of B2B meetings, export-capable Hungarian companies and their potential importers can meet each other: on May 4, 2023 in Hong Kong and on May 9 in Tokyo, valuable business relations can be established.
In 2021, the Agricultural Marketing Center launched the Hungarian Food Business Program, which helps Hungarian food industry and agricultural companies enter the market. The program has many elements, one of the most important of which is an online catalog (Hungarian Food Business Catalogue), which currently offers about 2,000 products of nearly 170 Hungarian companies to the attention of foreign suppliers. In addition to the publication, one of the strongest pillars is the organization of business meetings.
On May 4, 2023, seven Hungarian companies and two Hong Kong distributors (who have been distributing Hungarian products for a long time) will meet local importers and HoReCa buyers in a joint organization with the Hungarian Consulate General in Hong Kong. Among the products on offer are, for example, small-brewery beers, honeys, game meats and wines. At the event, Péter Ondré, managing director of the Agrármarketing Centrum, and deputy managing director Gergely Giczi will present the export development strategy of the Agrármarketing Centrum.
