The situation is changing in the East
Nielsen Growthreporter surveys FMCG market trends every three months in 35 countries all over Europe. We can see from the table that sales are growing rapidly in Kazakhstan and both value and volume sales improved in Russia. Average prices elevated by 16 percent in Kazakhstan and rose 10 percent in Russia. As a matter of fact, average prices grew in 5 out of the 8 countries contained in the table.
