Eastern Hungary can also be a tourist destination
Developments are needed so that East-Hungary’s settlements can become tourist destinations as well, thus increasing the share of tourism within GDP – Lázár János, the Minister leading the Prime Minister’s Office said in Makó.
Lázár János at the media tour revealing the development plans of the Spa in Makó said that due to the 9.5 billion HUF developments, Makó will enter the tourist map.
In addition to the planned expansion of the bath based on the original Makovecz concept, as a second step further hotels will be needed. The Hungarian Tourism Agency estimates that a thousand beds will be needed – the minister added. (MTI)
