East-European hotels have surpassing revenues
According to Smith Travel Research global report the Revenue per available room is the highest, 86.89 euros is East-Europe.
It was an 11.4% RevPar increase in
East-Europe, also the average daily rate grow by 12.4% to 117.4
euros. But the total occupancy dropped to 58.5%, what is the wrose
in Europe. The best total occupancy have the Nord-European hotels,
where the ADR is only 104.9 euros and the RevPAR is 69.67 euros.
Smith Travel Research reported that
average daily rates were up 5.6 percent in 2007 compared with 2006,
down from the 5.9 percent growth in 2006 over 2005. Revenue per
available room growth also dropped from 5.7 percent to 5.1 percent,
and total occupancy dropped from 63.2 percent to 62.9 percent,
according to Smith Travel Research.
