Unfavorable turn in european retail
According to Eurostat’s datas; an unexpected turn has occured in the euro area retail trade, because sales in November dropped by 1.2 percent, after the 0.2 percent increase of the previous month.
The analysts expected stagnation. The current data do not favor the expectations, that private consumption could help the region's economic recovery. Throughout the whole European Union, retail sales in November decreased by 0.8 percent, after the 0.5 percent increase of the previous month. A 2.1 percent decrease occured on annual level – reports Profitline.hu.
