The summer food chain inspection ended with positive experiences
The summer seasonal food chain inspection ended with favorable experiences, a small proportion of the investigations ended with fines and punishments, said the deputy state secretary for food industry and trade policy of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) in the current morning program of the M1 channel on Tuesday.
Beáta Felkai announced that the experts did not find mass irregularities when checking beach buffets, summer camps, or other events.
The improvement is particularly spectacular at Lake Tisza, but even at the Balaton beach buffets, hygiene deficiencies were found only in places.
Catering units were also inspected during the European Football Championship, and special attention was also paid to children’s camps, because the inspected kitchens and suppliers catered to 6,000 children.
Food had to be destroyed only once due to a break in the cold chain, beyond that only minor problems had to be eliminated, he added.
