A favorable process has started in tourism
A favorable process has started in tourism last year, when the number of guest nights rose by 4.6 percent over the previous year.
The goal is to strengthen the domestic tourism further this year, and receive more guests from abroad – Faragó Péter the CEO of the Hungarian National Tourist Office (Magyar Turizmus Zrt.) said in Győr on Wednesday, at the opening ceremony of the two-day Nationwide Tourinform Meeting.
Faragó Péter recalled that the number of domestic guest nights increased by 8.2 percent in the first quarter of the year, while the guest nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 9.4 percent. (MTI)
