Discount VAT for the hotels

According to the communication of the Ministry of Finance, the VAT of accommodation services decreases to 18 percent but only after the VAT changes adopted on 29 June will enter into force.

The parliament decided on Monday that the commercial accommodation will belong to the reduced VAT. The reduced rate of 18 percent would be use on the day after the publication of the law amendment. Thus, the hotels should use the higher VAT rate until the publication of the law amendment will happen – reports the Ministry of Finance.
