Kedves gave more than 130 thousand liters of milk

The government earmarked almost seven billion HUF as the advance payment of the special milk support. Its payment will begin on October 16 – said Fazekas Sándor Rural Development Minister at Monday's ceremony at the the Mezőfalvai Mezőgazdasági Termelő és Szolgáltató Zrt., where the cow named Kedves (Dear) was celebrated because she gave more than 130 thousand liters of milk until now.

The Minister stressed that the government created the advance payment of the special milk support and SAPS, due to the serious drought damages and spring frost damages. On October 16, the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency will start to pay out the 157 billion HUF.  (MTI)
