A new agricultural loan product expands the portfolio of the Széchenyi Card Program, with the support of the Ministry of National Economy and under a set of conditions agreed with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Széchenyi Agrár Micro Current Asset Loan Structure will provide free-use resources to micro and small enterprises from March with a fixed annual net interest rate of 3 percent, without own resources, and with simplified conditions – Kavosz Zrt. announced to MTI on Thursday.

The announcement emphasized that supporting the smallest agricultural enterprises is key to strengthening the domestic agricultural economy. The Széchenyi Agrár Micro Current Asset Loan, which will be introduced within the Széchenyi Card Program, will help agricultural enterprises with two new substructures. The sub-structure called “Green Road” can be used by micro-enterprises, including start-ups, for a maximum loan amount of 5 million forints, while micro- and small enterprises with at least one closed business year are eligible for a loan structure of up to 50 million forints – it was explained.

Both sub-structures are free-use loans, meaning that their use does not need to be proven with invoices or receipts

The new financing option improves the liquidity, stable operation and supply of local producer markets of smaller agricultural enterprises – Kavosz announced. After March 11, 2026, it was possible to submit loan applications in accordance with the usual procedure within the framework of the Széchenyi Card Program at the registration offices of the regional chambers of commerce and industry, the National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers and Kavosz Zrt. In the scheme, the loan is provided by financial enterprises that have joined the distribution of the Széchenyi Agrár Micro Current Asset Loan Scheme, and the access of agricultural micro and small enterprises to loans is facilitated by the joint guarantee of the Agrár-Vállalkozási Hitelgarancia Alapítvány (AVHGA), Kavosz informed.
