Cashier Service: default penalty may be even one million HUF
The mandatory annual review of the cash registers will come soon – the experts warn. Under the legislation, the online cash registers should be reviewed each year. After the first cash registers were connected to the system in the half of 2014, the owners have to pay attention when the year expires. Anyone who fails to carry out the compulsory service, can be penalized with an up to one million HUF fine.
The maintenance, service rules have also changed with the introduction of the online cash registers- warns Bessenyei István, the owner and the managing director of the Laurel group. He added that the annual review of the cash registers is mandatory on the basis of the regulations. During the review the service checks if any illegal interference or its attempted has happened to teh cash machine. If necessary, the replace the battery of the tax control unit (AEE) as welél or if the fiscal memory is full, they will install a new one.
