Cash register raid: the NAV closed restaurants and a café
The National Tax and Customs Authority closed two restaurants and a café, due to irregularities in several occasions.
The inspectors of the tax authority held raids with an intensity never seen before in recent weeks in the catering units of Budapest. The National Tax and Customs Authority (NAV) checked 200 restaurants in the downtown of Budapest. In 35 percent of the controls infringements were found by the authority.
