Cartel suspicions: German food retail giants under inspection
The German Federal Cartel Office investigates whether the German food retail giants abuse with their dominant position.
The buying practices of Aldi, Edeka, Rewe, Lidl and Metro against the small companies is in the center of the inspection. The authority will investigate the competition conditions of purchasing food and other goods and what are the consequences of these purchasings for smaller companies and suppliers – reports Világgazdaság Online, after AFP.
