The Carpathian Basin honey festival is organized in Zalaegerszeg
A two-day Carpathian Basin honey festival will begin on December 3 with the parade of eighteen honey knights in the county seat of Zala – it was announced at a press conference on Thursday.

They aim to make honey as essential food item
Zalaegerszeg’s reputation is strengthened by events that are unique and typical of the region. This is what the honey festival has become in recent decades, for which the city provided and provides a venue in the Zalakerámia Sports and Events Hall.
– said Zoltán Balaicz (Fidesz-KDNP), mayor of Zalaegerszeg.
