Dismissals at Coca-Cola
Coca-Cola's revenue fell by 14 percent inthe third quarter of 2014 compared to the same period of 2013.
The company late last year was forced to warn its investors that it will not be able to maintain the profit level promised for 2015. The soft drink manufacturer plans to save 3 billion USD globally, and will dismiss nearly two thousand of its workers.
The job cuts affect office staff of 1600-1800 in the first round, five hundred from the center in Atlanta, but according to industry sources layoffs are expected in Hong Kong, Istanbul, London and Mexico City as well. (Szabó Zoltán, index.hu)
