Aldi goes carbon neutral in the United Kingdom and Ireland
Aldi UK&Ireland has announced that its 900 stores and 11 distribution centres are now fully carbon neutral. The discount supermarket chain will purchase carbon credits equivalent to 160,000 tons of emissions this year. In cooperation with Climate Partner, the retail chain also supports many green projects.
