Majority of Co-op stores in Central England to stay closed on Boxing Day
Central England Co-op has decided to close the majority of its 244 food stores on Boxing Day. The retailer said this way employees can take a longer break from work, which would allow them extra time to spend with family and friends at Christmas. Co-op joins Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and M&S in shutting stores on 26 December.
