A campaign was launched to prevent African swine fever
In August, official veterinarians visit small farms and provide information on disease control. The campaign serves to reduce African swine fever – Bognár Lajos, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) told M1 news channel on Monday.
The Deputy Minister of State, responsible for Food Chain Management pointed out that the authority was able to control the virus in Hungary, over the past few months, so it did not spread to domestic pigs. (MTI)
