Interest discount on green loans
The popular green home loan will be even more favorable at K&H. In the most popular interest period, the interest discount for a loan for energy-efficient residential property is 1 percentage point. In the case of the most favorable green loan, the interest rate will remain below 6 percent, to be precise, it will be 5.89 percent. The financial institution is counting on, among others, those who, with their investment in inflation-tracking government securities, have targeted energy-efficient homes on the real estate market.
K&H will offer a preferential home loan for low-consumption residential properties from February 21, meaning it will make the previously successful green home loan even more favorable, the financial institution announced.
“The green loan interest rate is 0.9 percentage points lower for a 5-year interest period, and 1 percentage point lower for a 10-year period. In the case of fixed-interest 15- and 20-year interest-period constructions, the interest rate will be 0.5 percentage points lower. Including insurance interest discounts, the interest rate for the cheapest green home loan will remain below 6 percent, specifically 5.89 percent”
– Gergő Molnár, Head of K&H Retail Marketing, explained the most important parameters of the construction.
In the case of the most favorable construction, the 5.89 percent interest rate means that in the case of a 20-year term, 10-year interest period loan of 20 million forints, the monthly installment will be 142 thousand forints.
