Biologically degrading coffee cup lids

Hong Kong company MINT started manufacturing biologically degrading two-layer coffee cup lids. The lower layer of the lid is in contact with the hot beverage, while the upper part emits coffee scent instead of the disappointing smell of plastic – this is great news as it is said that 80 percent of the flavour experience comes from the scent.
