Cable Communications Association: the modified Internet tax cannot be accepted as well
The Hungarian Cable Communications Association (MKSZ) does not comply with the introduction of the Internet tax in any form, they also reject the amended draft, and calls the government to withdraw the proposal.
According to the Tuesday statement of the advocacy organization of the largest cable providers in Hungary, the amendment (that contains 700 HUF for private and 5,000 HUF fee for business users) goes against the current development of the Internet services.
In their view, the tax causes a surplus burden, which can paralyze several domestic, small and medium-sized enterprises as well as the operation of cable net operator, but the biggest losers of the action will be the millions of customers using the Internet.
