JVSZ Makro Conference 2023 – What awaits us in the economy?
This week, the Joint Venture Association (JVSZ) held its exclusive conference analyzing macroeconomic prospects in Budapest, at the ELTE University Congress Center. The main patron and opening speaker of the conference was Minister of Finance Mihály Varga, co-chairman of the JVSZ, Trade magazin is the event’s media partner. With the half-day conference, the organization set itself the goal of helping company managers in their annual planning with the latest economic forecasts, the involvement of recognized experts and the sharing of valuable knowledge.
The JVSZ’s exclusive conference analyzing macroeconomic prospects was held for the 12th time, at which renowned speakers, among others, presented the latest trends, such as Mihály Varga, Minister of Finance, dr. Péter Tálos, vice president of the Foxconn group, and Dr. László György, government commissioner. In the framework of unusual discussion forums, the focus was on the effects of geopolitical developments and innovation on growth, and the latest data from the JVSZ Economy Index were also presented.
Dr. Ágnes Fábián, the president of the JVSZ, the managing director of Henkel Hungary, greeted the audience of nearly 150 people, mostly corporate and economic policy decision-makers. He said that the main goal of the JVSZ is to analyze economic trends and to strengthen relations between the domestic corporate sector and political decision-makers. This includes the JVSZ’s Macro Conference held every fall. In addition to forming a bridge, the Association also supports the corporate planning process, the exchange of ideas between decision-makers, and the building of professional relationships. In addition, the most outstanding companies will soon be awarded again within the framework of the Companies for the Future Award.
