There will be enough fish for Christmas
The Hungarian fish farms sell 20-25 percent of their annual volumes during the Christmas season. They promise that there will be enough fish for the Christmas holidays. In recent years, fish is consumed during Christmas more and more frequently.
Hungary’s second largest fish farm, the Szeged-Fehértó-based Szegedfish Kft. sells seven truckful of fish from late November until Christmas – John Sztanó Executive Director told Krónika. He added: that the dominant fish at the Hungarian fish farms are carp, but thye also sell gray catfish, silver carp and grass carp as well. (hirado,hu, Kossuth Rádió, Krónika)
