Junk food and art – Picture of the day

We would be lying if we said that we immediately thought of Vincent Van Gogh’s still lifes when we saw the paintings of Florida painter Noah Verrier, but there is certainly some parallel between the paintings of the legendary master and the artist who created them nearly a century and a half later – if nothing else, the classical painting traditions: he depicts today’s fast food with oil paint and spectacular lighting effects.
