Inflation in the Czech Republic continued to rise in June
Annual inflation in the Czech Republic rose to 3.3 percent in June from 2.9 percent in May – the Czech statistical office announced in Prague on Friday.
Prices for products rose 3.4 percent and for services by 3.1 percent, compared to June last year.
Food and housing costs rose the most, but more had to be paid for spirits and tobacco, while transport and telecommunications services became cheaper. Fruit prices were 27.2 percent higher in June, than a year before. (MTI, Kokes János)
