German business sentiment improved by a record in the ifo survey in June
The business sentiment index of the ifo Institute for Economic Research (ifo Institut – Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung an der Universität München e.V.) at the University of Munich rose to 86.2 points for June from 79.7 points in May. The rate of monthly growth has become the highest ever recorded in the history of the indicator since 1990 German reunification. The value of the indicator thus returned to the level of four months earlier. (MTI)
