The Michigan index rose in the U.S.
The rise in the index in June was already the second consecutive improvement since the big fall in April.
In June, the final value of the consumer sentiment index in the University of Michigan survey rose from 72.3 points of the previous month to 78.1 points instead of the previous 79.0 points.
Consumers also rated their current situation and prospects as better than in the previous month, but the improvement was smaller than previously assumed. (MTI)
