The consumer expectations improved again in June

The seasonally adjusted value of the GKI consumer confidence index increased by 4 points to -64.3 points, after the turning point in May.

According to the survey supported by the EU the improvement can be seen at questions which had the most pessimistic answers before. The public expectations on the economic situation of the country  increased by 8 points and the public expectations for the evolution of unemployment in the next 12 months increased by 7,5 points. It also became slightly more favorable of the own financial situation of the population and the opinion on their short-term savings ability as well. Consumers are expect an increase in inflation  the following year.
