At the end of June, Groupama received almost 1 billion HUF in agricultural claims

After the last weekend of June, Groupama received almost 600 claims worth a total of 1 billion HUF, the insurance company told MTI.

The damage was mainly caused by hail and storms in the plantations. Most of the damage occurred in Somogy and Baranya counties, in some farms it is even more than 100 million forints. The weather did not spare Békés, Csongrád-Csanád and Bács-Kiskun counties, and not only the sown areas, but agricultural buildings and machines were also damaged, they wrote. (MTI)
