The harvest can begin at the end of June
The harvest of autumn-sown field crops can start as usual at the end of June, after Peter and Paul’s Day – Petőházi Tamás, National Class President of the National Agricultural Chamber (NAK) told MTI.
Petőházi Tamás said that last year, because of the extremely hot weather, harvest began more than a week earlier. This year it is not likely to happen. There is a chance for the earlier start if a compulsion ripening occur in the plants over the next two weeks – he added. (MTI)
